Rescued in Georgia where he and his brother were found roaming near a local Dairy Queen (which is how this sweet boy got his name!). His brother has been adopted. Though he arrived at the rescue extremely nervous and shy, Blizzard has completely blossomed into a goofy, loving, and fun-loving companion. Once he warms up, he turns into the ultimate velcro dog who always wants to be by your side, loves giving endless kisses, does happy dances when you come home, and gets the best zoomies in the yard. 

Fully house-trained and extremely dog-friendly, Blizzard is wonderfully gentle—his current best friend in foster care is Sunny, a 10-week-old puppy, and Blizzard loves bringing him toys for tug-of-war! While he hasn't been around kids yet, he would likely thrive with patient children who go slow at first. Busy streets, loud cars, and crowds still intimidate him on walks, so he just needs an adopter who will patiently help him build confidence on the leash. Give him a little time to adjust, and Blizzard will reward you with a lifetime of loyal love, fun energy, and sweet companionship!
