We here at Mission Mutt Dog Rescue want to save more dogs, however, due to a lack of space, we can only save so many. Please join our foster program so that more dogs in need can have a second chance at a better life. As a foster, you will make a huge difference in the rescue by helping us to prepare our rescues for adoption and providing a loving home until their forever home is found.
Fostering is free! The rescue provides supplies and medical care!
We also give service hours for each dog fostered!

A member of the home visit team will reach out to you to schedule your virtual home visit
Once approved, you will be sent the foster document. Make sure to read the entire document before getting your foster and join the GroupMe

Texas Fosters
Fosters must expect to have their foster dog for 1-3 months, depending on whether an adopter or foster is available in Florida. Some dogs take more time than others, with large adult dogs being the most difficult to place. Dogs must also be free from illness to travel.

Florida Fosters
Fosters must expect to have their foster dog for 1-3 months, depending on when an adopter is found. Some dogs take more time than others, with large adult dogs being the most difficult to place. Dogs must be fully vetted for adoption so make sure to stay on top of your foster dog's vet appointments.
Note: We can't guarantee the health and temperament of any dog
Temporary Fosters Both Locations
Temporary fosters are for emergency placement and when a foster is out of town. This can range from typically a week for vacation to a couple of weeks if a dog is looking for a new foster home.
